Samsomov looks pretty good so far. Kallgren played against Arizona which probably explains the loss. But there's still no excuse for highly powerful offensive team.

The Leafs lost me when they lost to Montreal in the playoffs a couple of years , that was a big time choke job

They choked the last 5 years straight. They had Boston on the ropes 3 times if you include 2013. Then last year against Tampa.

Yes your right, they lost all those but they did play well against Tampa I'll give them that a bounce here or there they might have won, but those against Boston and Montreal total choke jobs

I'm not knocking Travares. He's been a great hockey player, but paying 11 million for someone closer to end of his career than the beginning of it, didn't make much sense. Especially for someone that never won the cup.

Dubas should have been let go after last season, sid sexerio had rant about the Leafs saying they won't win a cup , no accountability.

the entire front office needs to be gutted from doofus to head coach, these kids don't need to try when they already got their contracts, you see the last minute in game seven last year, theres no fight or need to go on the attack, they just doing laps

Firing management will not help the outcome for this season. Getting some dependable goaltending will solve a lot of problems. Rebuilding the roster will take three to five years and no-one wants to go through that again. Only have two seasons before the roster will degrade due to contracts expiring. This group is as good as any other team but its the little things that make the difference in the playoffs.

Matthews won the RR twice in a row, the Calder, the Hart, and still hasn't reached his peak. Tavares hasn't won anything, and already reached his peak before signing with the Leafs. Big difference there.
