Hobbying and woman in general have been more of a motivator to increase my earnings. Hasn't had a downside yet, but you never know.... I could get hooked on all five hour duo sessions! :0)

sweety I am starting to agree with you, we survived without them for so long. I really wonder what kind of life these girls have after they turn 50 and look like garbage and then start getting mean as the clients don't like them as much as they used to. Meanwhile the best years of their lives have been used to take huge risks. Not everyone who goes into these places is an upstanding citizen. Some guys have STD's try to kiss them , finger them, and worse. They get yelled at , called names, probably have to endur some violence if they are unlucky. Boyfriends/husbands who want them out of the business, and on and on and on, I agree it's a no win for anyone except the owners and the licensing board. Plus they don't pay any taxes and are making a fortune and no one is complaining about this, meanwhile the rest of us hard workers are getting taxed a crap load.

Whoa. Somewhere in there are a couple valid points, but they're buried too deep in the rhetoric.

Putting slavery situations aside, no one is putting a gun to these girls heads to work in the sex trade. They could work retail or office jobs. They choose not to, because those jobs are not as expedient, or as accommodating to their personal circumstances. the girls "win" too, if the are smart enough to see they job for what it is and use it to get ahead or get out of a bad situation.

I don't understand how people come in here and complain about this hobby like they didn't know what they're getting into. This is a hobby, something we need to release(no pun) those stress & anxiety of the day to day grind with work/family issues etc. etc. I'm not saying it's the solution to the problems but it makes you get away (for hh) and get back to the grind a little fresh. This hobby ain't cheap but cheap don't feel as good. If i was to start a hobby building miniature airplanes or some shit like that, fine but if it starts to take a whiff off my savings and affect mortgage and bill payments...the SO will be out of my life faster than LiLo in Rehab.

I agree with the " human train wreck " comment. Some of the massageplanet.netites here have actual experience dating these women. I know some one here will argue about this because they are one of the guys we call " pussy whipped " . You are taking your mental health for granted if you attempt to get close to one of these " human train wrecks " . Some of them have husbands waiting for them back in China, which I have heard from 2 different girls now in the industry that own businesses. Without giving away any names I am sure some of you have met them at least one or 2. Some of them have mental problems that the American Psycological Association calls NPD/BPD combination. Go ahead , google it and see if you have gotten really close to one of these monsters who failed in life and are now resorting to prostitution , because that's what this is, let's not kid ourselves. Some have boyfriends and have admitted openly to other girls they work with they have cheated many times on the boyfriend. I think to get into this business you have to have a low self esteem and to be a long time customer you do too. This is how diseases get passed , you can lie to yourself and say it's not but if you are honest you will agree . Some of them actually get paid money big money to go to someone's house for a fuck and this is all tax free. Ok I am not saying if I was a multi millionaire and I found a girl that I thought was the best looking girl I had ever seen in my life I wouldn't dole out a few $ too, but this is super risky at best, if the condom breaks once and she has something you don't know about, guess what? it's spread to you.
I think and hope I had an epiphany today that will keep me away from these places for the rest of my life. Today I got some great advice from a friendly owner and I am going to take it. I also suggest , to all of you , get off your asses get to the gym, get your confidence back and go after a " normal " woman. Although it's debatable if there is such a thing, but the ones that don't work in these places, you have a much better chance of finding a lifelong partner than one of these lying, cheating screwballs. Every bad thing happens for a reason, my bad experience and my experience today taught me a lesson that I hope will change my life for the better. I know some of you will heed my comments and others will just go about their business like nothing important was even said.

P.S. Today I met someone with a husband in China and a bf somewhere else in Asia and she admitted to this. One day I will write a book about what I call, " this tragedy from the croaching tiger " or something along that line. I believe after all the reading I have done, that Chinese mothers are responsible for this " plague " that has taken over Toronto. I call it horrible parenting, born in , well I just said where it's from. Last thing be careful everyone. These places attract seedy characters , I don't want anyone here to be a statistic , think about the risk and access if it's worth it for you. I know the answer for myself.

Well, with extreme stories like the kind the OP mentioned, I highly doubt the hobby or the job f**ked them up. Thats more about their entire lives out of balance. And that can happen to anyone, anywhere.

What I want to know is if there are any veteran Hobbiests who have been able to maintain a marriage while seeing mps without ending up like scenario #1, herpes, warts and and infected wife on the way to divorce. I've been at it for 3 years, so far so good. I started "hobbying" when my marriage went bad. I have been very lucky in terms of my favorite MPA and a certain fav. at a downtown strip club. I had a negative turn on my income recently, and they understand my cutback. I don't smoke, and I don't drink much, live in a no frills bachelor apt. - and I m happy being single, so I still allow myself the occasional pleasure.
But the future Mrs. Smith (some of you know the joke) is part of my life and she understands that i will see her a little less - for the time being. I would not be a repeat unless I truly liked her as a person and she truly liked me...and I know that is all it is. Damn I sound too sensible.

Both of my favourites (the only ones that I have visited these past 4 years) - first, Amazing Spa in Brampton, second, Delux in Markham - were busted and closed down.

I would have thought STDs in MPs was low considering the services they provide, but I guess this mid-40's dude may be out to lunch.

There's been no shortage of massageplanet.netites second guessing their hobby on this board lately, and yet isn't it interesting that if you combined all the MPAs that everyone has collectively visited on this thread alone (surely thousands combined) there's not one person sharing a first hand account of picking up a disease and breaking up his family. From your other posts Sweety it sounds like you have first hand knowledge of every spa / MPA in the business, so why is it necessary to reference some sensationalistic news article from years ago rather than your own personal experience? You don’t have to ban the business for the rest of us - simply exercise your ‘no’ muscle. For both the clients and the MPAs, everyone's participation in the business is optional. If you don't like it, opt out.... don't suggest legislating everyone else's freedom if the real problem is that you can't control yourself.

I wouldn't call pussy slides as the equivalent to coitus in risk. If no condoms, a lot have saran wrap. Customers have been noted to bring condoms for 'fingers' if not for the intended purpose. I would agree about risk being higher with less reputable establishments (you referred to the Asian places but I can't say).
