In reading some of the posts/ads from various ladies on the 'net, you see the word "Tantric".

From my understanding, it includes meditation, building arousal...separating your body from the orgasm amongst other things.

No, I have never tried it....

There are only a few providers around that claim to practice it...and when they advertise that particular specialty they definitely charge for it.

Has anyone here tried it? What did you get out of it? Was it worth the "investment"?

What do you do different now that you didn't do before?

looking for "Tantric" you would well to post what your version of tantric is when asking ...I think most of us would be happy to find a provider that sees the spiritual and non rushed side of sensual.

it seems the biggest barrier to paying for tantric would be that you are always paying by the hour - and tantric at its core is a timeless commitment to exploring sensual connection. That second part is the other barrier - its about connection, not getting off, and most ladies aren't into connecting with you as they are the cash at the end of the hour(s).

In our world here, the only way to overcome this (while still being in a situation where the dude is still contributing) is to openly speak with a therapist (possibly legit) that you discover a genuine connection with. Perhaps she has an interest in her own personal growth and sensual energies. Mutual trust is the first plank in exploration. Can regular sessions be set up in a private setting? Perhaps 2 to 3 hours a session once a week. The contribution per session should be a nominal gift, possibly 200. That's a steady 10K a year if it's mutually acceptable. Imho, if the contribution requested per session is much higher, then walk away... run. I've written on this subject of repeat sessions with one therapist (in private) at various times on this board based on real life experience. That was more about mutual massages and pleasure. No reason why it cannot be expanded to include tantric learning practices. I am not saying that this will be easy to establish. But if you never search, you will never find it for sure.

In cities like Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Boston there are more open minded, well educated women who join groups to explore breathing and body work etc. It's easier to find a like minded partner to explore such paths without any donations involved. But we don't live there so it's only hypothetical. My first true experience in tantra was not in Asia but with a fine woman who lived in Marblehead near Boston. No monies were exchanged. She didn't need money and had a heck of a lot more money than I had in those days. It was about advancing one another's life journey.
