I have a pinerello carbon fibre that I ride up to Musselman Lake and back. Usually just do 70 kms
I may pick up a hybrid to use for more pleasure rides through some trails.
Where would you recommend?

I have one Giant hybrid which is the closest thing to a road bike I have. I have some carbon mountain bikes though...

The spa owners I am dealing with have good understanding. Nobody is pushing them to work. They have no problem I was telling all their girls to stay home. They even asked my suggestions what they should do.

Unfortunately, not all the owners are the same. The place I was talking about is pretty well known too...

Good idea...but you and I know that will never happen. Also, we all visit the MPAs we enjoy and some of them have no choice but to go to work due to their greedy bosses so no sense penalizing them...

That's quite the bike. I have nothing anywhere close to that. I have a Specialized Stumpjumper that i use for trails. Probably more bike than i need. And i picked up a Specialized Sirrus to putter around the city streets.

By where, did you mean where to ride or purchase a hybrid?

Haha, the Stumpjumper was my first 'serious' mountain bike way back in University...still like them.

Now is a great time to buy into APPL.

Sure it might go down, but long term, it is ON SALE like there is no tomorrow.

If I invested all my assets in APPL and waited 3 years for it to hit $400, I might have enough money to encourage Angela to marry me.

Just wonder why some guys in here think they are gonna die once get infected. That's not the case. Yeah..if you are out of shape and have underlying issues, that will be a different story.

Check out FIE on the TSX...mostly comprised of Canadian banks. Pays a high dividend...can't see how this will not be higher when things start to get better. In the meantime, collect the dividend.

Apple is the best stock to buy.

1/4 of the stock price is cash, so its actually cheaper than most of you even realize.

Name another company with that much cash, that cheap a PEG ratio and that strong a brand.

There arent many of them besides Apple.

And so what I got the symbol wrong. I sometimes forget Exxon's stock symbol (XOM) even though I have owned it for 10 + years. It doesnt mean I dont own Apple, it just means I typed it incorrectly. I sometimes misdial when I text Angela - doesnt mean I haven't smashed her kitty over 100 times and proposed to her over 30 times either.

Banks can be good but tech will return more over the next 10 - 20 years than financials will. I am putting everything in Apple these days. It will be at 400 in 3 years and I will have made enough to book Angela 100 times.

That's always my goal - make money and book Angela with that money. I am a simple, focused man.

Earn. Book Angela. Earn some more. Book Angela some more.

XOM...the whole energy sector has been decimated, lots of bargains there (but risky). Banks have been beaten down too but are relatively safe.

Even QSR (owner of our beloved Tim Horton's) has gone down a lot...

Basically, there are bargains all over the place...calling the bottom is much tougher though. Things can get much worse before they get better. I've been slowly dipping in during sell-offs but always keeping some dry powder available.

I am no expert. Learnt a hard way through Nortel time. I was interested in energy stocks but my FP said very risky and he made the decisions for me to play safe with banks. CM.TO was his choice and went with it . Better be safe than sorry.

That’s the first place to park your money once the dust has settled.

TSX is ok but I’d rather pick 5 good companies here
I think it’s still a little early but 30-40% discount on a major index’s high doesn’t sound too bad
