I believe the prices in Phuket and BKK have somehow affected one another.. U only heard of 4K LT in BKK then but now it's the normal in Phuket.
On my last trip to BKK, I wanted to bring a girl out but she said that it's a bar policy of buying 2 lady drinks (180B) + Barfine (600B) + LT (4K) which adds up to 5K!
I believe the Japs have sort of spoilt the markets there cos all the agogo bars at Soi Cowboy have lots of Japs there!

Sunday nights the 2 Pattani Travel coaches leave from behind Jungceylon direct to Udon Thani so I think there's only 7,286 here today...and thursday to sunday this week there will be even less as it's Mothers Day holidays and more will be going home to see their Mums.

Agree with what you say here.

Though I wasnt keen on Pattaya as a place, everything is a lot lot cheaper compared to BKK and Phuket, I guess due to a lot of competition. I would say if I spent 1 week in Patong, I would spend the same if I had spent 2 weeks in Patts.
