Has VnV now become the go to spa? Has anyone noticed a drop off in traffic at the other spas? I wonder if their success will cause more places to open up in the area?

My opinion ….and only mine from my limited experience there so far…
The facilities are as nice as any other, and as long as I get a room with a private shower I will repeat now and then. Don’t into rooms that shears a shower although I understand the logic when considering the cost of an extra shower and real estate that it can take up.
Somewhat underwhelming experience in the room, attracting enough but the attendant had very basic massage skills and similar experience for the fun stuff.
$100 tip was accepted but service level would not warrant a repeat and possibly make me reluctant to go back soon given she was a highly recommended star…
Understanding that not everyone has the same synergy as others but this is usually not an issue with me….10/10 for the facility and staff, possible that the attendant was having a tough day or difficult client so will consider being neutral for now on her review to give her some benefit of doubt…

When Mei started, it was similar thing happening with V&V. New shop, new girls. It think it wears off after a while.

Didn't realize VV was next to children's learning center, guess I'll have to look harder next time. I only saw wellness center on one side and land development on the other...

Have never been for a 30min session, always 1hr. I prefer the longer session.

90% of you posts over the last 3mo have been about VV or SL. If you had a decent reputation, its dead to anyone with critical thinking skills now (dont worry there are not many of us).

1h isnt a "longer" session its the standard- if you are getting/care about a massage- referring to it as the longer implies 30m is the default here. Which it is, which is my point.

VV focuses on 30min appointments, there have been a number of reviews that mention a girl giving a less quality appointment there vs. when at other spas...

The plan is 30min revolving door because it aint here for the long run. Bank what she can before bylaw and neighbours run her out of there (wheels in motion on this, turns out being beside children learning centers and selling sex isnt appreciated by surburbanites.)

The money is the driver here.

In a 30 min appointment the spa gets $40 ($30 for the spa $10 for the girl) and then say a $40, $50, $60 or $80 tip.

In a 60 min appointment the spa gets $60 ($40 for the spa, $30 for the girl) and then say a $40, $50, $60, $80 or $100 tip.

Spa owners can double their money with 30 minute appointments, simple math here boys ($30 an hour or $60 an hour).

Spa visits are down, tips are down, so in high traffic times the spas generlly prefer 30 minutes, very little work and quick cash. You'll note in most cases they will ask "30 minutes" .....

I've never had a 30 minute appointment, only 60 min, and tip in the $100 range most days, so the girls are happy to see me, they make $130 from a good person, clean, reasonably fit, reasonably handsome who is respectful and actually engages with them and I repeat with my regular girls often throughout the year. The point being, the spa owners (at Golden Wellness for example) are NOT happy with my visits, while the girls are, as the money works for the girls and not the spa.

Certainly not perfect, but would suggest that for the girls, its preferable to the cheap flipper who comes in (for 30 minutes) and the girl gets $10 for the room and $40 for the tip from some unresponsive simp. The spa owner prefers simp in most cases, with the odd exception I repeat, visit the same spas, so they know they have a long term customer. So in most cases if you support the spa they will support you.

I have noted that many members are not "thrilled" with all the girls, seems some of the girls are just average with average services ..... the comments and the reviews in general are in the 7/10 range from what I've read.

They are the customer. If that’s all they want then that’s the market rate set by the spa and MPA. They are not going there to elevate the Spa or fall in love with a MPA.

Personally I prefer 60,90 and 120 seasons with my small circle of regulars and tip well for the service I want. In the end it’s a business transaction and not a romance.

It’s been a while since I saw Mei.
I used to she her fairly regularly pre covid.
I waited 7 or 8 minutes while she talked to prior customer.
When she arrived she looked, tired and really didn’t seem happy to see me.

She motioned me on the table and told me we had to hurry.
I asked if she wanted me to leave, it was abrupt, not welcoming.
Mei is nice enough, thick, with large breasts.
Age, I’d guess early 50’s. English is good.

The massage was light to medium.
Nothing exceptional, no tease, seemed she was tired, almost weak.
