pizza idea sounds ok if he couild put on some sides like salads,chips and garlic breads etc

mr dupes i had a 10 and a 7 come in to dine on sat at same time unannounced with me being the only chef in the kitchen,was ok but it takes time to do,so agree with bernard need to order before hand,not all restaurants have an 8 man line cooking FFS.:wai:

I reckon Oh La La can ok but then I reckon the best part of the night is at the table rather than slogging around drinking here and there.
Also Robierre is Frenchman ( thats why hes not called Robert) and he can cook great AND has palatable wines. The shortcoming is usually 'bin' time which are generally fcukups here in LOS...
Of course Bernie and others may want to go, ' Every one throw in the same,quick nosh and go drinking' ( and Im capable of that too)....
Oh La la is a good kick off point but. We can go to the 2 on the right, then left to Apple bar, then The Aussie Pub, then Beergarden, etc, all the way to Maydens...

Dupes Oh la la is a small run restaurant, our 20 people will not be the only customers coming in that evening, there will be at least another 10/15 but we will be ordering 20 meals at approximately the same time. The reason I said about the menu is that it has a large selection and from EXPERIENCE takes a long time to read and then choose, now multiply that by 20 and it will take an age, but as I said it was only my suggestion, it will not take me two seconds as I know the menu off by heart and could tell you what I will order right now.

As most meals are priced approximately the same and most people will drink the same amount in the time there, one bin and a kitty also saves time, but heck, we do have a couple of people coming that really worry about 10 baht, so make 20 separate bins, let them get confused and take another half hour, again I really do not mind.

The Krawlathon to me is meeting old and new friends, having a few beers and plenty of laughs, its not about eating nor food, that is just required to stop me getting drunk too fast and quelling any initial hunger I usually feel before I get the first few beers down.

Sateve, take charge here mate, we need one leader and 19 followers, never works with 20 people leading with 20 different idea's.

Maybe about 6 or 7 full menus ( remember there will be others in there) and then about the same number of pizza only menus, never counted them. Dupes I am only offering idea's to Sateve, cos he's been here and I live here and was trying to point a few suggestions to make the night go better. I don't want to get into a p1ssing match over this, their menu offers a large selection of food, there are always 3 or 4 items each individual would quite like, which lengthens the time in selection, I have had meals here with a group of people before and it will take a good couple of hours just ordering, eating and paying multiple bins, but heck, I can't say it enough, I really do not mind, all I was doing was giving a few idea's, not telling anyone what to do, nor wanting to get into arguments with individuals who do not even know the restaurant.

Oh and just a point Deano, Robert is spelt Robert in French, it happens to be pronounce Robeirre in French or should I say francais??? should I now go on to say, bonjour robert, that means hello robert in french, or more accurately good day Robert 55555555555555555 why the feck do you do this in almost every post and conversation? it doubles up everything you have to say. Its got to be a teacher thing and being more in the know than those around you or an impulsive need to correct the unwashed??? 555555
