NL also raids happen but pimps are informed beforehand... So no issues.. NL anytime safer than lodges.. But nowadays thoda overpriced and half baked

In places like NL, they get news of a raid and have 10-15 mins buffer before actual raid starts. The entrire place is vacated on an emergency basis. But there are a few raids by specil crime branch or SSB .. social service branch.. in these cases even the local PS has no knowledge. In such cases, they round up everyone including girls, managers, pimps and customers.

Generally customers are taken to PS and after recording name, address etc are let off after a few hours. Obviously,. They will milk the cows properly. Those who can't are taken into custody and case filed and are taken to court next day. If the next day is Sunday, it will be on Monday. Till then in lockup.
A FIR is registered and you need to hire a lawyer to fight it out in the court. But these happen rarely but not ruled out entirely. At times, they have to meet their targets so to make numbers they do this.

If minors are found in that place, then case becomes serious. The intention of raid is to stop trafficking and child prostitution.

You must do all you can to get released in few hours. Offer any money you can afford and get out of the shit. As anyways you have to spend later for lawyers and courts.

The girls are taken (rescued ..(sic) ) to shelter homes in chembur etc. These are living hell, where they are raped every day free of cost. eventually they try and escape from these sick hones.

That's why one must always call before going there.

Infact NL is the safest among others. There are hundreds of places there incld con...gress HSE which are riskier. They don't operate with customer safety in mind. In NL some managements floors like 2b2f or 1b1f 2b1f will make efforts for customer safety. They believe in customer security.

That's why that last line is important .. PL call the guys there and if green signal only then go ahead else drop the plan. You are safe. Such support you won't get in other places like CH etc etc. You are out in the open in these places except NL.

As such the mongering activity has some risks which makes it interesting.

True, but Pavwala street is not far from Navalkar Lane. In fact Pavwala street is on the other side of Harkishandas (Reliance) Hospital. Perhaps around 500 meters from the entrance of Navalkar Lane. Pavwala street is closer to the Tribhuvan Road joint discussed recently in this thread.

As others have pointed out, the SPs at Navalkar Lane get advance warning of any raids, so it is relatively safer than the other neighboring joints. That does not mean that the risk is nill.

I absolutely agree Kancha's places 1b1bf and 2b2f are the safest to be honest i have been going to his place for almost 10 plus years in fact they used to operate from Ch too when i first started going there way way back and even then they were honest and looked after their clients safety first always and have continued to show that same attitude and concern in NL...

You are right. Somewhere in 2016-17, there were multiple interference from top guys to vacate the place. Not just NL building but the buildings before and after also. Looks like they wanted to develop a huge complex there. But, the realty market crashed and later demonetization happened. That was the end of redevelopment on that plot. So things limped back to normal.

Realty market is still not so good.

Adding to this conversation...i have been a regular at NL from past 3 yrs trying chics from 3to11k range and always thought it was safe as i i call before leaving..i think i have crossed 100...Sp prem has been the only guy i approach...and I always used to tip him extra to build a rapport.. December it was regular affair as usual...i went in and just got into the room.. suddenly heard loud footsteps outside...the gal in the room picked her bag and ran and i tried doing the same..but there were around 10 ppl in the reception area by that time... They made us all gather at the reception and one pandu started clicking...they took down everyone's contact details...Sps were slapped...the aunty who is there at all times was shit scared and was constantly asking everyone to co-operate...it was an embarrassing moment...many gals jumped and hurt themselves...rest who were left were taken into custody for a month...we were asked to leave after a gruelling two hour ordeal sitting on the floor like petty criminals.. still get shivers down my spine when i recollect that incident..
I always thought they were on good terms with LE but when they raid its only the money in your wallet that will help you..even after two months i used to get calls from random numbers..a Truecaller search would show Mamu as the name.

Yes NL has been operating since 90s but given the current scenario, i don't think they will last long..i turned to delhi post this but in the past week there has been an uptick in raids there too...stay safe and avoid nl or if you cant..then onatleast dont visit a day before any public holiday...i got stuck on a fucking Tuesday...

This must have been a SSB raid..even local PS does not have info on this. Shit happens.
Like I said earlier, they will milk you to maximum and release you. As they also know the carnal needs of a man. Plus, their work load increase a lot if they have to file an FIR.

I too had four incidents in past 10+ years of NL at different times ...

1. Once I had been there early around 5 pm as I was free after completing my work in that area. After barely being in the room in 10 mins, there was hard knock knock on the door. Got shit scared and left immediately. When I went down did not see anything fishy. Yet disappeared in no time.

2. Around 10pm, had finished and came out in reception area.. could see some panic. Was told to exit quietly. Corridor and stairs lights were off. As soon as I came out on the ground floor which they opened for me.. they told me to take left and disappear in the market area. Usually I take right towards hospital. While walking fast towards market, turned back to see.. saw a few cops entering the building. Escaped .. lucky .. disappeared in no time.

3. Was there in the evening around 6pm and when I came out, it was quite sunny outside.. normal daylight.. walked towards hospital side. As soon as I was100 meters on the road, a man started following me and calling me like. Shhhhh, shhhhh. I walked fast and stopped hear a crowd of boys and girls eating sandwich. He started asking me from where have I come from just now. I looked at him and clearly he was a cop. I knew if I get scared, he will milk me 500 or 1000 minimum. So, confidently I told him why should I tell him, are you a cop? Then, I took my mobile and acted as if I am calling someone. Don't know what happened to him, he withdrew and ask me to leave. I told him that he need not tell me what I should do. Anyways, took a cab and disappeared. Told this incident to my SP that despite they paying huge amounts, there are low ranked cops who try and milk some loose change.

4. Once when I had just reached and was sitting in the reception sofa, there came 2 cops and just saw me and asked my name and went inside. In 5 mins he went down and out.. asked my SP if all well..he said it's routine check. Continued with my task and left.

Other than the above 4, I never had any other event in over 10 years.
