I'd say Bulgarian is closer to Russian, but everybody there speaks English. It was a rare occasion that I came across people who didnt speak any English. The better hotels are the more expensive ones. Be careful with the cheaper ones, especially if you plan to bring girls back to your room cause a lot of them will charge you for guests. The regular bars/clubs are normal prices from what I remember. Sex clubs can naturally be much higher.

Great report. Sofia sounds somewhere worth visiting. Worked with a girl from there before who was very hot and a friend was out there last year and loved it. Is Bulgarian similar to Czech and Russia? I speak a bit of both and can read cyrillic. Will that help approaching regular girls? I'm 22 and like to get laid off regular girls as well as a few p4p treats if I can find 10s. How much do you think i'd need a day for a mid range hotel and food for most days? Also what about drinks and regular club prices not sex clubs? Sex seems dirt cheap if you have no club in regular clubs.

I can only speak for the clubs I visited. I highly recommend Kama Sutra. But all you need to do is pick up a night club guide (you can get them at most clubs and probably at most hotels). They have all the discos, bars, and sex clubs with their phone numbers and addresses. There are at least 10 pages full of places to go, so you're bound to find some place you like.

And I dont know about girls in hotel bars. I heard about them, but I never saw any working girls in any of the hotels I stayed at.

Im 25 and in excellent shape. Not that it matters much. The only thing that's important with these girls is how much money you have. That said, the normal price for girls in most clubs is about 100 lev (which is around 60 usd). You can get them for 60 lev if you go to the places the locals go, but it's harder to find those places as a tourist. The only people that will rip you off are the taxi drivers. Read my report... everything you need to know is in there.

Bulgaria is not a tourist destination. It's nothing like Prague for example. In Sofia, most foreigners I met were soldiers from Kosovo. In Varna there are many more tourist (because of the black sea). And Golden Sands is purely a tourist resort.

what sort of money were you paying for the girls? do the locals try to rip you off all the time? and what is the currency in bulgaria? (Krona)

How old are u mate? I am 29, good looking (so ive been told!!!) and in shape. so i was wondering what the typical sex tourist to bulgaria is like and where they tend to be from.

Yes, I went by myself and had no problems. In fact, it normally gave me a reason to meet and talk to people. Nearly everyone speaks at least a basic level of English. It was a rarity when I came across someone who spoke zero English. And depending on where you go, you can almost be certain you wont be the only foreigner in the club.

With the girls, it's best to use protection... you dont know where they've been. As far as bringing them back to your hotel, everyone knows about the girls... it's normally no big deal. But some hotels will charge you a fee to bring the girls up to your room. If you dont feel comfortable bringing them back to your room, most places have rooms that you can use in the club.

are most bulgarians conversational in english or do most not speak english at all?
Do you speak any bulgarian?
Were you going into clubs alone? if so how did they treat you when they realised that you were foreign and byyourself? hasstle you etc..
are the girls generaly clean and disease free?
Did you get funny looks when taking girls back to your hotel?
Is it safe to go bye yourself?

Ledrak99, just to tell you I had very very similar experience in Bulgaria, although my trip was to Golden Beach and is back two years.

Either very mechanical robot like sex with girls they do not even remotely feel like they care still for themselves. A kind of sex slave experience I do not like and sometime -although I paid for the hour- I finished earlier and used the time for other's. The ironie is that these girls then get on their way with more money for less, but they are so useless!

Good for some people to know that these Bulgarians are also in the EU countries now and some of them have brought their attitute with them. A reason for me to avoid them unless I get some positive comments from a forum or friend etc.

Having said this, Bulgarian girls can be one of the hottest on earth, tall, but good breasted, nice face etc. so if you find a good one stay with her.

Ok, I've separated the trip report into 3 parts... Sofia, Varna/Golden Sands, and then my return to Sofia. I'll post the 1st part today, part 2 tomorrow, etc. If you read the whole report it's actually a pretty interesting story. The 1st half of the report is actually a day-by-day diary I wrote at the end of each day, so I didnt know what was going to happen next. And you'll be able to see this when I make mistakes and change my mind about things that I previously wrote in earlier days.
