I was really shocked on the other music thread that nobody had mentioned Afterglow

I’m also a fan of the CD Afterglow! FYI: There’s a HUGE music thread that no one’s mentioned here yet. It was started by Texas-Gal as a place for everyone to list their favorite music. I'm having a hard time finding Celtic music that's appropriate for massage. Any tips are always welcome!

I put together a cd of modern guitar music that is not too lively. It has Stevie Ray Vaughn, Riviera Paradise, Little Wing, Lenny, Brian Setzer, Sleepwalk, a couple by Danny Gatton, Los Straitjackets, Morphine, and The Allmann Brothers. My clients love it. it runs 63 minutes, so I have learned how much time I have left in the hour by what song is playing. It has 12 songs on it, and I am currently searching for 12 more to make another one.

Duh, Bliss, you are totally right. I got so wrapped up in checking out the great suggestions (just downloaded Tillman's other, earlier works last night) that I looked right over your affinity for Afterglow, too!

I wasn't trying to embarrass you, MRSkitten! :wink: I just wanted people to know about the other thread because it is so full of great recommendations. I've bookmarked it under my web favorites. That way, whenever I need new music, I can browse that thread for ideas. It would take days to check out all the great suggestions!

Thanks, Bliss. Naw, I do a great job embarassing myself! I have The Dreamer and The Poet as well. I just downloaded "Leaving Zurich" and with only minimal editing it is also very good work music. I wish Martin Tillman would make MORE music...

That is a great thread and I just assumed people knew. Good idea to bring attention to it.

The track Ruby by Paul Baker from his The Tranquil Harp album, is a free download from Amazon.com. I liked it the moment I first heard it.
There's 2 other tracks available there too from Ladder of the Soul and they're very relaxing too. Guess I'll have to put those albums on my wish list! :wink:
