I find it annoying that I call at 9 am to book for 1pm and then I get asked to call back at 12 to confirm. Muse is close to my work and I often book between meetings, but I find it hard to step out of a meeting to find a quiet spot to confirm my appointment in an hour that I just confirmed three hours earlier

I would also find that annoying. If I book on the same day, why do I need to confirm? I actually made an appointment 2 hours in advance and did not have to call back to confirm. I guess 2 hours is their cutoff point. I also have many meetings during the day, so it's not always convenient nor possible to call back 1 hour before my appointment. But that is Muse's policy.

There's no cutoff point. If you try book an appointment before the girl has arrived for her shift, they'll ask you to call and confirm to make sure she's actually there. It doesn't really matter how far in advance you call. If you call to book and she's already there, you probably won't need to confirm, even if it's several hours ahead.

It’s their job to call HIM if she DOESN’T show up.

Can you imagine booking a dental appointment or an auto appointment, you show up and they say, oh, you didn’t reconfirm so it’s cancelled?

Or the dentist/mechanic didn’t come to work so too bad for you?

A normal business call the CLIENTS, APOLOGIZES, and gets you another apptmnt right away. FFS.

My car mechanic, dentist, and spa mgr all contact me if my appointment is delayed or cancelled, usually by text.

Okay so here is what happened yesterday at Muse.

I had booked my girl on Monday, who is on the schedule for working at Evening shift starting at 4:30pm the next day. I think it was Riley (? I have no idea. just the obvious mamasan that calls everyone honey) that answer the phone, and told me to call again on Tuesday at least an hour before the appt to confirm. Now I have been reading this thread so I am more aware of any potential issue (Not to mentioned I really only wanted to this one girl and not others). I also realized that since I am asking for the 1st appt of a shift I have to be extra careful.

On Tuesday I called at 2:45 pm to confirm, and they said yes thank you see you then. So at this point they have some assurance that the girl is coming in.

I showed up at 4:30pm and was told she got stuck in traffic, and it will be at least 15 mins late. They want to make sure I am okay with that, and offer to take down my number and call me when she arrives. I declined as I don't like leaving numbers so I said I will call back and see where she is at in a bit.

I parked somewhere I can see the entrance, and my lady come flying in literally on the dot 15 minutes later. I gave her 5 minutes and called again and the front girl said yes com'on in.

I felt the experience is completely reasonable. You need to look at the circumstance (1st appt of a shift etc) and figure out what is a reasonable way to make sure you get your appt.

On the otherhand, the session was great. Almost like make-up sex as she is quite apologetic and even showed me the proof of why she was delayed. I had no issues. I wanted to see her only, so I would have waited. They told me a time that she is late and it was exactly what they said and offered to call me when she comes in.

At this point, the prices do not justify the services. You're better off hiring an escort. At least you know what you're getting. You can also shop around and not be tied to one girl.

Exactly. It is not about the value proposition. It is about how you feel about getting the service. Committed guys has boundaries in their head. Getting a HJ from an MPA is different than going to a SP for an in-call in their mind.

Also committed guy obviously cannot get out-call so there lies a big difference as well.

I don't understand why some people are so irked by the fact that the client has to call at least an hour beforehand to confirm.
- The odds of clients that booked a day or more in advance not showing up is high.
- The odds of ladies not showing up for work for various reasons is possible
- Discretion is paramount in this hobby. The spas respect your privacy, so they will not call/text you to confirm like a dentist office.
- One of the receptionist's responsibilities is to keep the ladies' schedule full with real people that actually show up... not just take appointments.
- The ladies are there to work. The more sessions they have, the more they make. Assuming all clients being equal, the ladies would rather give their timeslot to a walk-in than to wait for someone who booked a day ago, didn't call to confirm, and may or may not show up. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

In light of the above, I think it's perfectly reasonable that we have to make that call.
I realize that dentist and doctors offices call to confirm, but with the no-show rate being so high at a MP, leaving a reminder voicemail/texts is not going to improve the no-show rate.

In the end, it's a small task an our end to avoid disappointment.
I get that we have busy lives, but if the appointment is important to you, you'll find time to make the call on the day.

In the existing pricing on the Treatments page on website, they show that same $40/$120 savings that you do. Pretty sure what they're promoting now for September is the savings versus their new rates, and the poster above would be right that the new room fee will be $50/30 minutes.

If you're a woman who doesn't want to give extras, you're not going to fit in very well at Seductions. Even if you wanted to try, is it worth $10 more per session when you're having to fight off guys expecting extras every time?

So the new pricing is out. +$10 on the room fee and +$20 on the girl per HH. What used to be $120 per HH will be $150 and what used to be $180 for 45 mins is now $200. Non linear increase up to 90 mins.

Actually, non-linear increase all the way up to 120 minutes.

It's so interesting - +$10 room/$20 MPA for the HH, but only +$10 room/$10 MPA for all the other time periods. Makes the longer sessions a better value on a $/minute basis than the HH, and increasingly so the longer you go.

I think they have it backwards. The difference between 30 and 45 min should be small enough to be tempting.

10-$30 is not a big deal if Muse had a stronger line up. I have been to Muse and they get less traffic then Flirt, Premier or Seductions. I think their new pricing structure is just going to drive customers to their competitors and as such they will still have a problem with recruiting talent as they don't have the traffic to make going to Muse worthwhile for the girls to work there. They needed to raise the amount the girls were getting to match their competitors but I think raising their take from the door fees was not smart but we will see what the future holds.

I have just seen one girl there couple of times. For her service and $120/HH it was a pretty good deal IMHO. $150 would be on par on what I had expected.
