so now the ones that can't afford will rely on their credit card to float them.

Less will die from Covid19 than from the economic shutdown. So, I dont support the economic shutdown because more people will die from the shutdown than from the virus.

How will we fund cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other treatments if most workers are forced to stay home? Where will the economic production, then turned into money, come from if we dont work and produce?

You obviously are allergic to logic, facts and math and economics.

like many things, hindsight is 20/20, but I think the government should have stepped up sooner and told the bank.

I have not stopped seeing my 2 regular girls.

I have setup multiple PS4 running COD:MW and a few other games, plus a bunch of jigsaw puzzles, some old board games and even a Wii in the cafeteria/lounge of the building that I am working in. We have volunteered to stay for as long as needed. It is a great way for some of the workers to blow off some steam. If you losers play. I might be one of the guys that you kill.

Just tossing out a few thoughts. Please add your own.

- Governments and people need to be ready for and expect crises.
- Citizens should have high standards for their leaders and hold them accountable.
- Most of our stuff should not be made in countries that are not our allies. In the future this will be largely addressed by advances in 3D printing and robotics, and localized on-demand manufacturing.
- Their will be future pandemics. The world needs ongoing and well financed research and preparation to anticipate and deal with this.
- Decision making must give more respect to science and less to opinions and public sentiment.
- For capitalism to survive the problems at the margins need to be addressed - there should not be working poor, corporations should not be reliant on never ending growth, companies should be by law responsible entities in the countries they operate in (in the current corporate model the only responsibility a corporation has is to maximum profit, and if that means polluting, bribing politicians and exporting jobs, they do it). Capitalism works far better than any other system, but it is not perfect.
