Hi...totally agree with sex in Latvia, much harder, since mindless stag do's the place has gone down..I bought an apartment there 2 years ago...have been going to Riga for around 4 years...then it was excellent.....now...you have to be much sharper in your questioning techniques and warm up them up the first night, then bang em in the 2nd...usually works for me !!...ps...if you need an apartment in the centre, let me know.

The situation in Latvia has become much worse lately. A few years ago, all you had to say is that you were in Riga on business, and almost any normal girl without a boyfriend or husband would sleep with you for nothing, except dinner and some drinks. Now, with EU membership, 50% + of the girls have been to Western Europe. Lots have worked there, too. They expect more money to be spent on them, and they are very cautious now toward men. They think all men are lying to them (probably true) because so many sex tourists have come and used them, and discarded them, when the girls here, previously thought, stupidly of course, that if they gave quick sex to a visiting tourist, he would eventually marry them, and take them back to W. Europe or the USA. Now they don't even need the men for that...

You can still get sex from prostitutes at Velvets, LaRocca and other clubs, but the price is about 100 Euros, which is more than Amsterdam. Regular girls won't hop into bed anymore. They are becoming as much of a pain in the ass as girls anywhere else in the world. For sex tourism, I think Amsterdam is a much better bet, nowadays, as the entire E. Europe is going bad from the perspective of the hobbyist...
