How to introduce myself to a guy?

So, I like this REALLY cute popular guy, and my friends always tell me to talk to him. I walk close to him and run away because I get scared. I don't know what to say to him or what to do. Plus he is POPULAR. I know a couple of his friends, and I flirt with them when he's around, but he never notices me. I like him a lot and i really want to get to know him. Any tips?

ugh im in the same place as you
with other guys im really outgoing but i cant help but to be scared
and nevous around him

this is what i do with other guys, maybe you're braver than me lol
approach him and be like
" excuse me do you know where the bathroom is?" (you can change the bathroom thing to anything or anyone you like)
than be like thanks, whats your name? and when he says it tell him your name and next time you see him start a convo with him

You should just go up to him & introduce yourself. Guys tend to like when girls arent shy to introduce themselves. So pick out a cute outfit, put on your best smile & introduce yourself!

Then you could go a step further. See if he has a phone, then text him. good luck!

if you're that shy type, you should walk over and say hey, then start a convo, like, hows it going? or something like that (that wasn't a good example prob) maybe like, hey have you seen(a movie title) and then it should start a convo!

First tip: if you're going to flirt with anyone, flirt with him, not his friends. Assuming that flirting is the only way that he's going to notice you... he can't notice you if you're not flirting with him.

I can understand being shy or scared about approaching a guy (though I'm coming from the other direction, me approaching a girl). Something that might make you not be so scared would be to walk up to him where/when there aren't a lot of people around. Unless you're actually afraid of HIM, then taking away people will help.

I will add one silly thing, and that is, if you think that you "really actually have romantic feelings" for this guy, but he hasn't already noticed you, perhaps you shouldn't worry about it at all. It's much more fun to go on a date (or get engaged, or married, or whatever the case may be) where the other person has noticed you on his (or for me, her) own.

Popularity is a temporary thing. Being secure in yourself is very important. Just walk up to him and say hi. Perhaps if he sees you flirting with his friends then he thinks your not interested. If you like him, why do you flirt with his friends when he's around? Maybe he does notice you, but doesn't try to get with you, because he see's you busy flirting with everyone else? When you see him, say hello to him and ask him a question about something you have in common. Try to open up a conversation.

Guys love it when girls walk up to them first, he may not seem interested at first but guys are complicated and change their mind about you once they get to know you. Be yourself around him, do not under any circumstances be fake because guys HATE that. Small talk can get you far. If you see him in the hall smile at him, who cares if he is popular, I promise he only cares about your personality not you social status.
