Opinion HOW DO YOU VET A DISCRETE MESSAGE (DM) REQUEST(0R) ? For a Newby

Recently got a DM request about my recent Review of an MPA.
This person/ entity was digging for info but also sharing details his own salacious risky high mileage encounters.
I took it with a grain of salt although I am aware that BBFSCIM, BBFSCIM, etc etc does occur with some regularity. Not my thing and if true I would consider not seeing that MPA.

DO YOU VET how much and what info you share. Should you ignore, share as much, play along to get info that would steer you away from high risk girls.

HOW DO YOU VET THE REQUESTOR ?. Are they the LE, Father Mucahey, high mileage thrill seekers, respected member (reviewer), shills, pimps, Spa manager/ promoter, husbands, boyfriends
Do you check their posting history, etc.

What I did was I reviewed their posting history of 113 conversations from July 2020 to now. There was only 1 minor review. Most of his input were questions like what did you get ie FS, DATY, what does she look like ...dimensions, etc.
Other inputs were generalize statement or remarks of no significant value to the board. I played along with his sharing to get info and shared minimally (actually lied a couple of times).

Another concern I have is of what value is this info (I guess that depends on who the requestor is and motive). What are the possible consequences if the requester is only gathering for salacious reasons with hidden agenda or an ulterior motive.
To hurt the MP /SPA / MPA ?

Don't get me wrong I think sharing is good but this info can be misused. Is it really discrete?
Am I over-reacting?

Generally, I would say be cautious of what info you share because you really don't know who you are 'talking to'. There are guys with multiple IDs as well...and it's hard to know whether they have a hidden agenda or just want to know about the girls.

Yeah, for sure look at post history and the number and type of posts they make and draw your own conclusions...

If you know other seasoned guys on here, they might be able to tell you whether that member is legit or not.

Hell, you might even run into a few at the spas (I know I have )

Wanted to know what info I could share because I have been going to MPs on and off for over 25 years.
Did not get a good vibe from him

If he’s got something u want, ok, b willing 2 share… but if he’s got nuthin u want? Why bother?

… there’s a few dudes I share 411 with… similar taste, & gd tips in past…

I’m damn careful about private stuff… like if an mpa gave me special mileage, cell #s, legit RMTs that do xxxtra…. pretty much don’t share that…

There’s no penalty 4 saying, sorry dude, dunno…

I think your concerns and actions are reasonable, and I pretty much do the same thing. Most of the time I check their posting history. If it's a good contributor I'll share pretty freely, especially if I've benefited from their intel or had similar experiences. If it's a troll, keyboard warrior, or just an all around asshole I'll ignore them. If it's a new user, or someone who only asks questions and never gives anything back, or I suspect that they're fishing for info for questionable reasons, I may share some info but withhold or lie about other things.

Like xtc27 said, if they have some info that may be useful you should be willing to share something, but if you're not getting anything you don't owe anyone anything.
