I had not heard they reopened.

I just ran the number through Google and Bing. According to Google it seems like a locksmith used to have this phone number and a classified ad in the Allentown Morning Call newspaper. When I used Bing it came up with a map of where the spa is, with the address and an Asian woman's name. This is either stupidity on the new owner's part or some idiot setting up a sting operation.

I think I will sit this one out until there are quiet a few reviews posted.

Did a recon drive-by, but didn't stop in. Got the new phone number (215-541-4710) from the sign and gave them a call. A pleasant voice answered with excellent English and only a trace of an Asian accent. I found out that they are open from 10 am to 9 pm and that they do not have table showers. She said that they have a shower that you use alone. Doubt that I will be visiting.

Sign on the front door reads "physical therepy". That's it.
Add a bunch of new police supporter stickers on the windows that weren't there before, and whala!!

I can't be positive, and i'm not taking one for the team here. Way to close to home and the vehicle would be noticed in a second..... Hope someone can report back on this one.....

Berks County detectives raided a massage parlor in Hereford Township and arrested two women on prostitution charges.
The arrests were the result of an undercover investigation spurred by complaints of prostitution-related activities at Oriental Spa/Massage Therapy, 59 Starr Road, detectives said Friday.

According to investigators:
Detectives went to parlor with a search warrant Thursday about 5 p.m.
They arrested Kyung Ae Kang, 38, and Mei Hua Jin, 42, as they tried to run out a back door.
No customers were there at the time.
Investigators seized surveillance cameras, money, documents and other prostitution-related items.
During the investigation, an undercover county detective twice posed as a customer and Kang and Jin agreed to sex in exchange for money.
Both women were committed to the county prison in lieu of $15,000 bail each after arraignment before Senior District Judge William N. Hall Jr. in Reading Central Court.
The raid team included members from the Boyertown and Douglass Township police and an agent from Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Detectives said officials are investigating the immigration status of the women.

YoYo is back! Went and saw her today when I was in the area. Called ahead and mama made me welcome. Typical great service as usual. She is always a the best. Like a wine gets better all the time. She gave a exceptional massage and FS. Only wish it would last a few hours. Will repeat in a few weeks.

Go to a place that makes the magnetic signs that go in work vehicles. Just get the signs with nothing printed on them and put them over your business name. My buddy had to do this to get around his homeowners association's restriction on parking vehicles with advertising/company lettering on them.

It works best on a white vehicle since the background on the magnets is usually white. Just slap them on at a gas station on the way there and peel them off after you leave.

I have a somewhat similar issue, my car is a non common color and I have personalized tags, and my 4x4 is as special limited edition that there are only 1,500 in the US so I understand your concern. At Hereford I back in to obscure the tag, and when I go with the other vehicle I go late a night.

I'd concur with everything stated. Although I've never been inside Wellness, I'm familiar with the building. I've been in Hereford a couple of times. The mamasan currently at Hereford could not possibly be more friendly. She's a sweetheart. As the previous poster recommended, if there is a specific lady you are interested in, call first and ask mamasan if the lady is there that day and indicate when you are likely to arrive.. it makes everything go smoother. Good luck!

Just wanted to say - thanks for your input. Problem is, my vehicle has a business name on it and don't want to advertise in this bad way. Sounds like Wellness might be my best bet. Thanks again!!

Wow, this is a very good question and is a tough one to answer --- here's my opinion: Wellness is a bit better as far as not being seen by passing cars on the road --- it's a bit elevated and a bit further back from the road vs. Hereford, which is pretty much at a 4-way stop sign on a small road right beside a large road and right down from a Turkey Hill. Only weird thiing about Wellness is that there is some sort of business attached or adjacent to it a little further back from the road (whole complex looks like a former, old 1-story motel), and the workers at times come out in the parking lot for smoke breaks --- one time I walked in and felt the stares of 3 fairly hard-looking smoking non-Asian women. At Hereford, you can park right beside the (front) door and run right in, and I've heard of people parking at the Turkey Hill and walking over (so their car does not stick out like a sore thumb).

As for cleanliness, I've found both places well-above-average and at times impeccable. As for friendliness, it has varied with the mamasan --- I think there was a real crab at Wellness for awhile, but that may very well have changed. Never had an issue at Hereford, but I heard that a mean one came and went quickly before the last closing. Talent varies but has always been above average inmy opinion. Check this board and others for up-to-the-minute commentary.

I've always felt best in calling ahead and asking who is working (they won't usually tell you but will confirm names if you give them to them) and asking if they are busy --- you'll be asked "when can you come", and indicate to them when you'll be over. It's not really a formal appointment, but when you walk in, Mama knows you're coming.

That about covers it for me --- I'm sure others have some opinions.

I plan to visit either here or Wellness next week and I have NEVER been to an AMP before. Any recommendations - which place, what girl is best for my maiden voyage, what to do and what not to do. I worry about Hereford due to location - next to Turkey Hill. Should I call ahead for appointment or just wing it and take my chances. Any help will be greatly appreciated! I'll post after my visit for everyone to see.

I thought for a while that I would never post a review on this website again since I am no longer very well received from certain individuals on the boards (those few know who they are and will remain nameless). However I decided to take the high road and post every review whether it be good or bad (unlike before). Screw the white knights out there. Fortunately this experience and update was good.

After being snowed out of an appointment on Wed and after two days of shovelling out, I found myself off and with a free day on Friday. After running a few errands for the wife I decided to hit a favorite AMP. I called ahead and asked the mamasan if Yoyo was available. Here's the UPDATE: She informed me that Yoyo will not be around for 3-4 weeks. No problem if Nana was working and she was. I arrived and informed mamasan that I called earlier and she promptly went and got Nana. Second time with Nana was much better than the first which was hard to top. She greets me with light kisses (which lasted throughout the session) and lots of fondling. TS was very good and massage was wonderful after battling the snow for two days. Rest of the session topped the first one and everything was included. House fee was again $.6 and tip was $. I even almost forgot to give her the tip as she never asks. I only wish this place wasn't 30 minutes out of the way in bumfucknowhere.

On a side note, as I was leaving I got to see the new girl sitting there watching tv. She was attractive, young and friendly but unfortunately I didn't catch her name. The only bad thing, I hate entering and leaving this place as it's open to trffic and the Turkey Hill.

Went to Hereford this weekend and saw Nana. She is a real sweet girl, who gave me a real good TS and sauna. She has real smooth skin and gives a good massage. Talking with mamasan she was trained as a massage therapist. I have been there several times with Yoyo and I think she remembered me, so I got some spec. treatment. Started with CBJ then CG, Mish, Dog. Hot towel to cleanup then some massage after. Hour ran over but Mamasan didn't hassel me. Left extra tip .4 and even gave Mamasan .2.. She Will remember me.. hopeso.
