Hand insurance

Im seriously thinking of insuring my hands,has anyone else thought of this????

It doesn't look like any of us have thought of this. I would imagine the cost would outweigh the benefit too.

Jennifer Lopez has insured her butt for 27 million ,and I think I do alot more with my hands .On a serious note my hands are my livilehood so it is I think worth considering

I myself find it a bit weird. What makes some people over others think their hands are worth a monetary value? Surely everyone will miss their hands?
To me it's just a symptom of our greedy society where compensation culture has instilled in us that all negative situations are instantly appeased with cash.

I think hands are integral to most people's livelihood, Star.

On a lighter note, if it's reiki, then I truly believe that the channels will be open regardless of having hands, and try checking out some of the more advanced Reflexology techniques of Dr David Wayte - look mum, no hands!
it'd give you a USP, trhat's for sure lol!

Hi Gorseflower,tried googling Dr David Wayte but coming up with nothing...

He's the dean of Jubilee College, and he is the only reflexologist to be accepted by the GMC.
He sent an email to his ex students mentioning his new technique, which is all about utilising elbows and wrists to decrease strain on delicate finger joints - apparently he has had amazing results during his research.

Many thanks for all your kind words - but I'm blushing . You have also made me smile and laugh with all your lovely compliments.

I'm not a Dean - I just run Jubilee College. Also I'm not in the General Medical Council (that's for doctors only), but I am in the Royal Society of Medicine.

You are right about Finger Free Reflexology - the idea here is that this new technique save the fingers for precision work only and the heavy duty work is done with other areas of the hand and arms.

Oh and by the way - I'm not a doctor.... just a humble reflexologist.
