So funny. The extent to which mainstream media has people brainwashed. As I've said before, I'm no fan of the blowhard Trump, but people have lost all sense of reason when it comes to him. This week Cuomo said,

1. Maybe we need to start thinking about how to send some people in some industries back to work if the the risk is reasonable
2. Right now better to be safe than sorry, but assess the situation on a daily basis
3. Social distancing important, blah blah blah

For saying these things, the media is acting like he's a hero, "if only we had a President like that". Trump is saying the EXACT same things, but out of his mouth it's incompetent, unfeeling and all the rest. Bunch of brainwashed sheep.

Cuomo also has the emotional intelligence to admit he’s human and he makes mistakes. Trump only cares about himself and how things reflect on him and will lie repeatedly to reinforce that narrative. Only until someone hits him over the head with a sledgehammer to get him to see reality or how his normal inclination will backfire will he change his tune and stick to a script. But Trump’s nature is to always bring it back to how great or smart he is. He is narcissistic and will never admit he makes mistakes.

By acting as activists and advocates these "journalists" have betrayed their professional calling. They confirm the bias of those who already hate Trump and enrage his supporters who rightly understand that where Trump is concerned, they cannot trust the media. Trump accused them of being providers of fake news, and they rushed to comply.

The bar has been set so low with Biden that Cuomo now passes as a worth adversary for Trump in November. People don't really want to educate themselves about political and social issues because they're intellectually lazy. All they do is hear things through the grapevine and that's how they formulate their opinions. They don't realize that all throughout this pandemic, Cuomo and Trump have put their differences aside for the most part in order to get the country through this ordeal. Pelosi tried to play partisan politics by trying at first to delay the passing of the $2 trillion stimulus bill unless her liberal wishlist was adhered to. Ocasio-Cortez, one of the dumbest human beings on the planet and the same bitch who caused New York 20,000 new jobs from Amazon, also tried to stifle this process by asking that relief money be used on illegal immigrants. Nobody ever calls out these evil politicians because they only hear one side and that is, everything is Trump's fault. Their only sources, CNN and Hollywood, never showcase the other side's perspective which is why the casual follower of politics pins everything on Trump without even knowing who his equally obnoxious opponents in Washington are and what crimes they've committed and covered up over the past few decades.

I don't really know very much about Andrew Cuomo yet, other than the fact that he is the son of the late former governor Mario Cuomo. But I wonder if he is a similar example to George W. Andrew Cuomo is nowhere near the stupidity of TruDouche and Dubya. New York has seen job growth under him albeit slow and mostly in NYC and he has also lowered taxes for the middle class. However, he has turned New York into a sanctuary state and run up a $1.6 billion debt late last year despite Trump's strong economy. He's very average at best yet everyone is swooning over him like he were some fresh faced newcomer with something different to offer.

Cuomo is talking to people directly about what is really happening and people are gravitating to that like moths to an outside light at nighttime. That’s what Trump should be doing but is incapable of. Not saying Cuomo is any good. Just saying that in lieu of a lack of actual leadership from Trump people are looking for whatever leadership they can find. With New York as the US epicentre, Cuomo has centre stage and is upstaging Trump (but that’s not hard to do). Heck, even Mike Pence is showing more Presidential leadership than Trump is.
