Feedback on services menu redesign?

Hey folks,

I'm redesigning my services menu... I am looking to help people identify what it is they most want out of session... here is what I've come up with for a first step, an organization into three main service types.

My question for you is, looking at the three choices available, are you able to pick one? Or is there a fourth (or fifth, etc) kind of session you would want to be able to choose?

I like it! However,the 3rd option the picture looks like they are picking there noses,I know they are not,IMO the pic doesn't look right.

Maybe a different tapping picture? That is what it is, right?

My option was to open image in new tab, but that worked! Thanks - I never thought to right click at all!!

Neither option worked for me. I can't "view image" and when I make it into a "new tab", it's just a bigger version of the 2 and 1/2 pics.

Maybe it is a difference in browsers. I assume that is why I have different options than JaeMarie. I am using Google Chrome.

Oh hey, I like it. Reallyreally LIKE it! I could only see a fraction of the 3rd pic, I couldn't scroll sideways anymore because it was just too wide. But I got the gist of what you are trying to do and I think it's great. I do agree about the last pic though, I can only see the guy on the left but I had to look twice thinking 'What is he DOING?" lol.

Thanks Shannon for the link!! I like your wording and choices, Ego. I noticed that the second one has a typo-- it shows whe instead of when? And I agree, to the public viewing # 3 would think that they are picking their noses? But I like your descriptions and concept.

Yep, I definitely like the idea and think it will help with the service need identification.

The third pic should probably be changed though. I agree with the person who mentioned it looks like they are "picking their noses". I am sure it is some type of re-balancing technique, but I don't think people without the education will undestand that.

How about a pic with someone standing in an "educational" type pose and the other (client) performing a task that has to do with balancing or a stretching technique? It may be easier for the general public to relate to?

Also, I don't think you would want more than 4 choices, since you are trying to condense. But, if you were to have a fourth choice, then I would go with a "mixed" session. But, then again, adding that in, may complicate what you are trying to accomplish with this.

Thank you, folks! Sorry for the photo issue... it seemed to show up fine on my screen, but of course we have little control over how things appear anywhere else.

Ok, so a different third picture it is. LOL.

As far as a fourth option, the only thing I can think is that sometimes people come in and talk about wanting to feel more "balanced", to have their mind and body more in sync, to get out of their heads and into their bodies, or will say any number of things that I translate into "wanting more grounding"... I am not sure how someone in their position would choose from the 3 options given.

Am I the only one who thinks that some people who quickly look at the pictures might view the 2nd pic as a breast? Obviously I know it's not, but the fact that you can see a tiny bit of the arm and the picture gets a little fuzzy at the bottom left corner....well....
Will the average non-MT realize at 1st glance that it's a scapula?

I actually do agree that the general public may look at it that way on a first glance. The suggestion to correct for more clarified photo is a good idea.

I'll admit, I know that a scapula is what would be on the page and not a breast, but when I very first saw the pic, I did a double take... knowing full well it was a scap and yet still re-checking. The pic struck me as incomplete in some way (possibly adding a portion of the back of the clients head in the photo, would do it). So, I figure if I looked twice, even in knowing.... the gen. public may not get it without more than a few looks.

I like things to be simple, so, I can agree that it would be a consideration when addressing the photos.
