Here is what I always do before I go to Prague:

I always go to escort.cz and look for appartments near to the hotel where I'm gonna stay. Then I call from my homecountry. You see, most Private's claim that they have so and so many girls and that they all speak English. But when I'm calling and noone is able to answer any of my questions in English then I assume that maybe they exaggerated their language skills a wee bit.

Based on how friendly the person on the other side of the phone is I also make my decision whether to go there or not. I also always asked for the price/hour and the exact address of the appartment. Using the map from Escort.cz and writing down the house numbers that makes it much easier for me to find the appartement once I'm in Prague.

And for me that almost always works. I've just come back from Prague and had what was probably the best pay-sex I've ever had I'll stick to the Private's!

almost 2 years ago in Palmovka i was given the correct street name and number.. and then told to call them when i arrieved... so i called and was told to wait... i waited a few minutes.. and then suddenly i hear a "ahojjjjj" scream from 4th floor. i looked up and a lovely blonde in a red bra was leaning out the window (or aver parapet on a balcony - i can't remember) and down she threw an empty cigarette box that landed in on the front of an old skoda. i got the box and found a key to the street door and let my self in. it is still my best expierience in a private in prague. but this girl doesn't speak english, but german.

Most privats in my opinion are a total waste of time, but thats just my opinion. Many have ex clubs girls who are beyond the sell by date, or are more 'troubled' girls who can not work at clubs. This is not always the case, as with the better ones, see Dessert above... but times change. Prague was totally differant 5 years ago and the scene has changed.

Dessert is a privat

It meets all the Privat criteria.

It is located in a residential area, and is run our of a house, they do not have many girls, but the girls that are there, know what they are doing. ( they must know, how the hell else would they hold mandrake's attention for so long.)

They speak english ( most of the time ) as far as i know there is only one girl there who doesnt have a firm grasp of english however she makes up for it by having a firm grasp of something else ( hmmmm )

So i guess its up to you, however if you dont have alot of time to do all your own footwork, then i guess your stuck with what the rest of us tell ya Neeyahahahaha.

I remember the first time i was in prague 5 years ago. You could go to a privat and get a stunner who was studying English or maybe there would be one english speaker in the privat and you could talk to her and she would translate. Now it seems like the stunners are all gone, but more girls really speak English. There are still a few privats with great girls for 1500kc / hour but it's hard work to find them! So you have to talk to guys like me who live here and already did the footwork.

Its normal practice for privats in Prague not to give out the bell name to first timers. I have also had it happen once as you describe above, was given the correct house but the wrong number. The real place was directly opposite so I guess they wanted to look out the window to make sure I did`nt look like a psycho or something. But that was back in 2003 I think and has never happened again...

This means:
1. There is no doorbell so someone has come down to get you.
or 2. It is not the right adress but in reality somewhere close by.
Its a trick they use to hide the location from the landlord and other curious minds and a simple way to screen clients.

I never visited (timeissues) so I don't know, but don't be surpriced if you are approached by a girl and taken to a location nearby while you are waiting to get in at the adress.
It is not some sort of scam.

I think the main attraction for us Europeans is the clubs.
Therefore we know very little about the private scene.
If we want to go to a private we can do it at home.
They only difference between a private in my country and in Prague is the price.
The price in Prague is about 50-75 % less of what it is at home.

So any input from anyone about privates would be appreciated.

You dont need Czech as nearly every girls has basic English if the Privat is worth its name.... But be aware most Privats are not the girl advertised. Try the biggers privats and you will have more choice not so many language problems
