DB for Newbies - Part 2: Top 3 fears holding you back from going to a DB
You are reading this forum and got excited about the fun you could have. You gathered energy and courage (and money) and decided to go and visit a DB (or SB or OB). You read the Top 5 Frequently asked questions about DBs. You are all ready, but you still can't 'just do it', something is holding you back. Here are 3 top most 'fears'.

1. Is it safe? All these places looks shady and I am pretty sure some illegal activities happen there. Is it safe to to such place? Will the bar employees or owner harass me and harm me? How about the girls or the rickshaw wala? Police?

Don't worry, it is safe.
The waiters, owners, girls and the taxi/auto driver - they don't harm you. This business works on repeat customers and mouth publicity. They don't do bad things for temporary gain. Yes, they may ask you more tips or charge you extra for the drive. The pan wala outside the bar may tell you 'saab, andar itna paisa deta hein,gareeb ko 10 rupya jyaada dena' and may charge you 5 or 10 rupees extra for a packet of cigarette. Other than this, there is no harm. It's safe.
Police - I have witnessed 4-5 raids. Have seen police taking the girls into custody. Heard stories about more raids. But no customers were taken or harassed in any of the cases.
Yes, it's absolutely safe and secure.
But doesn't bad things happen in these place at all? No, bad things happens in DBs also. Or on the way etc. But bad things happen while you travel in a taxi or train to work. Or when you go to a movie. You get cheated in railway station and airport. Those kind of incidents can happen anywhere include DBs. There is not too much extra risk in your safety.

2. What if I meet my neighbour in the DB? Or a senior in office or my distant uncle?

Don't worry. In fact there is a chance that you may get a partner to visit DB with.
Anyone whom you meet there came for the same purpose. He can't look down on you. He won't rat on you to your mom or wife. He also went there for the same thing rt.
If it is a senior - in age or someone you respect or an 'uncle' etc - don't look at him much or try to get eye contact. Leave him alone. Don't talk to him about this even if you meet him outside later. In case he brings up the topic, ask him for advice and tips.
If it is a junior - your younger brother's friend, or friend's younger brother or someone like that - don't look at him and try to talk to him. Don't scold him or advise him if you meet him outside. If he comes and ask you about this, talk to him casually and leave it.
If it is a peer - somebody of your level - not just age or position in office - someone you go to regular bars together or hang out together during family get-together or society functions, then go and talk to him, if he is alone join in his table also. You can be 'partners in crime' form now on.

3. How do I make sure I get the best deal? Best dancer to dance with me, girls coming to entry for the lowest amount etc. I fear, as I am a newbie, people will take advantage of me.

Don't worry. You can't do anything about it.
There is no 'right' price for siting with a girl for 10 minutes or 'right' number of notes to throw during one dance. There is no single 'right' amount of tips to the waiters, or money to girls for entry. It depends. You spend what is comfortable to you, what you think is the right value. I know many people who give 100 rupees each to waiter, steward, captain, DJ babu, watch man etc. I know people who gives 100 rupees to the table and ask everyone to share. There is a friend who gives 500/1000 to DJ and much less to waiters. I give 100 each to waiter and captain. 50 to watchman and nothing to song guy.
There is no right amount for any of this. Don't think and worry how much others are being charged and how much you end up paying. You spend whatever feels right to you.

Yes, I am a regular there now. I find it happening in my limited visits to db. Rasna excites me

Just getting into the technical aspect of it...

If being present at a crime scene is not a crime, is simply being present in a db/sb/ob when it gets raided a crime?

Throwing money, indulging in indecent behaviour etc. might be punishable if proven but how do you prove that in the court that you were indeed doing that and not simply sipping your drink?

What if someone says he went in there just to piss cos he couldnt find a public restroom around?

Any insights? Any lawyers around?

Boss there is a cctv camera in every Db
Rasana inner room also has it
Db owner is supoosed to keep a record of cctv and show to LE when asked for

And let me tell you when raid occurs and LE wants to screw you they can do a lot of things

Just one phone call by LE at your home to inform that you are caught at Dance bar raid is enough to get you screwed at home
Isnt it ?

Then LE can make u wait in police station
Can ask your family member like Wife or Father to visit police station before tbey decide to release you

LE can get your social image to dust in one minute infront of family
I will give you real example few days back
It was mentioned on forum also

Sur sangeet Thane VIP was raided and police made all 4 customers in VIP to wait overnight in police station and released them next day afternoon

So overninght stay in Police station ..

It is enough for most of the people to start crying

And if u r raided on saturday then u r doomed
As police can keep u till monday easily saying court will open on monday

Another thing is Passport stamping
If one FIR is loadged against you by LE in new Dance bar act..u can serious issues at visa application if u need it for going abroad as it comes in your record
Now a days everything is Adhhar linked

So never take LE lightly

And belive me once a raid ocuurs
Mind you .

Also police has no policy or tactics to give warning beforehand. Rather they will attack first. I remember in couple of raids.. I guess it was cabana cbd where police came and sat with public first after observation they stopped everything. Also in rasna couple of times i seen familiar faces i seen in police station....

So don't get scared. Behave properly with ppl men and girls. Have enough drinks. Throw limited money and that would be fine. If you do what i said in last two lines tell me which police can caught you? No way. Max warning and let you go. Now if you put hands in choli, fought and use abusive words with fellow monger, throw lots of money (remember telgi came on radar due to this), drink heavily and create scenario then which police wont caught you or take you to custody and scare to tell same to wife or parent. Patao these girls. Take them to lodge or hotel legally with req docs. Do whatever you wanted there. Who would caught you?

There is one prova also sab illegal kaam legal tarike se karega to kon pakdega?
