Does anyone wear Crocs while working?
Are they really comfortable?

I don't use them for working ( massage student) right now, but I did you them for the long hours at the hospital. I worked as a health care aide, and i have to say that my feet and legs were not as sore- VS wearing running shoes.

They are a great company, and great shoes.

And you can wash them in the dishwasher,and they do not stink like other shoes after a while.

It is like walking on little puffy clouds.

TRUST me, if you wear crocs you will not be disappointed.

I don't were them personally, although I think they are going to be on my "to buy" list in the near future.

I have three friends who were them for massage and absolutely love them.

I LOVE my crocs!!! These shoes rock. I wear them to massage, but not exclusively. I sort of alternate between my birkenstocks and crocs, depending on what I am wearing. Buy some crocs, you will not be disappointed.

I tried Crocs and being a between-size person they didn't work for me. Well, one of my clients well-known in her profession for her tenacity decided she loved hers so much I simply MUST have a pair for working in. So she got me the Nile sandals. Surprisingly, they fit great, so she also ordered me a pair of the thongs (she says they aren't as cushy). After all that I decided to give the Cayman style another try, to no avail, then tried the Professional style and pulled on the heel strap to stretch it a bit and those fit perfectly.

I love them. Just finished a 12-hour day and my feet actually FEEL GREAT. I am so glad she pestered me until we found styles in the Croc line that would work.

I loooked @ the site, and the caymen & the professional looked awfully similar. I have hard to fit tooties, and was wondering what was wrong with the caymen?? I will be gettin a pair of these bad boys soon!!!

I read this post this morning before I went out of town shopping today. I bought a cheapo pair of this type of shoe from Wal-Mart last month. They lasted about 2 days... the shoes are fine, but my feet were not. They didnt fit my wide foot well enough and I got a nice blister on the top of my foot. They also were not very cushy, kind of hard. The kind I had were the clog type without a strap in the back.

So anyway, went to the big mall and stopped in at payless shoes. The sandals I was wearing were giving me another blister!! Stupid slip on sandals!! My daughter needed a pair of shoes, plus they had their buy one get one half off sale. So, I talked to the sales girl and told her about my problem, my blister. She brought me a few different sandals that I either didnt like or they just didnt fit right because of my wide foot. Then, she mentioned the airwalk shoe. I told her I had a pair and they didnt work for me. She wanted to know where I had bought them. I reluctantly told her Wal-Mart. Apparently, others were disatisfied with the Wal-Mart shoe of this type. A cheap knock off she said. Payless also has a gaurantee on their shoes, if I dont like them, I can bring them back. So, I tried on the full sandal style of the airwalk. LET ME TELL YOU!! I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOE!! By thier nature, they are a wider fit. Perfect for me!! And ohhh so cushy!! When I got home, I put one of the Wal-Mart shoes on for comparison, there is no comparison. The price at Payless was great too. A pair was about $15.00. I may go back and buy a couple more pair while they still have the sale on. I bought a navy colored pair. They had an orange pair there.. not to crazy about orange shoes!! Maybe my local payless will have a different selection of colors in the style I like.

I have a couple clients who told me about the payless version, said they were as good as crocs, w/o the hefty price. still have not made it there to get a pair, but i plan on it! :}

Absolutely.. go invest in several pair~! They are amazing! and because they have no latex, ( I am allergic to it anyway) they do not lend to any odors, or swelling if you or your clients are prone to latex sensitivity

I have been intrigued by this discussion, and noticed my neighbor's daughter wearing a pair this afternoon, she let me try them on, and I'm definately buying a pair (or more). Even if I don't wear them for work (because I really love my Birks), I'll wear them.

I have to add my Croc experiences. I read about them here in this thread and became intrigued. Checked out the website and exclaimed "what ugly shoes!" and promptly forgot about them. Then a co-worker told me that I absolutely had to try on the shoes she was wearing (Crocs) and once I did I was hooked!! They are the most comfortable thing I've ever had on my feet. I have a beige pair (beach) and a black pair (cayman) and am planning on buying a blue pair, most likely the professional version.

I was shopping the other night and was wearing my Crocs at the time. I passed by the shoe dept and noticed that they were selling their (Sears) version of crocs so I tried one on. I had my real Croc on one foot and their version on the other. There was NO comparison. The Croc was soooo much softer and pliable. So.....then I was at a shoe store and noticed they also had their own version and tried them. Same thing....there was no comparison. Ditto at Walmart and Target. Now...I didn't try the Payless version but at this point I'm so sold on my Crocs that I really don't mind paying $15 more for the real thing.

I talked to one woman who said she wears her's almost every day and they really last and last!

I just got back from a vacation to Chicago where we basically shopped (and museumed) till we dropped. I had no problem wearing my Crocs for the entire day....no blisters, no sore spots, no aching feet.

The Cayman style comes in whole sizes and has a slightly more narrow fit than the other styles. Since getting the sandals I've got a navy pair of the Professional version (no holes on top) and the chocolate brown Beach version. Since I'm a between-size person I just find if I stretch the backstrap a bit (not pulling on the rivets when I do this) it stretches out fine and they fit wonderfully. But I'm not into the bright colors for work.

Yeah, they're ugly. And I've tried the cheaper versions only to discard them from blistering problems or they are too hot. My feet are so happy, happy, happy now.

Even MRkitten. who said they were "too ugly to pay $30 for" (so found his for less than that, including shipping, on eBay) now wears his absolutely EVERYWHERE and wouldn't part with them.

Try a pair from Zappos, wear them around your house. If you're not totally sold, ship them back free.

I found out if you put your crocs in the dryer for 2 or 3 minutes they soften up enough so when you take them out stretch them immediately where they are a little too tight and then put them on your feet and "smoosh" your feet all around in them stretching them out a bit and essentially creating a custom orthotic as the shoe cools down with your foot in them.

Trust me, it works great! Just dont keep them in dryer more than 2 or 3 minutes!

Thanks! I'll try that for the strap on the newest pair that should arrive tomorrow.

Also--do not leave them to bake for days outdoors in the sunshine as I've heard this may shrink them.
