The Toronto Star has reported that 69 year old Leafs great Borje Salming had a battle with Covid19 in March but is doing fine now. He said he couldn't breathe and felt like he was going to die.

So just to let you guys know, and yes that's also you, Ursus, that this virus is real, and can happen to anyone.

I never said Covid19 wasn't real. I said it wasn't manufactured in a lab, like some stupid people say it was. There's a big difference.

Let me see if I can explain it so you understand...I didn't accuse you of not believing in the virus and I didn't express doubt about it myself. What I said was that it was funny you thought you could convince someone the virus was real by telling them Borje Salming had it.

And for the record, since I've seen the story misquoted so many times, yes there are some idiots saying the virus was manufactured, but that's not what the American government is saying. They are saying that the Chinese were studying a virus laden bat in the lab and that the virus infected a lab worker who then spread it. Many media outlets are irresponsibly trying to make Trump out to be dumber than he actually is. You must be sympathetic to that.

I'm retired, but I wrote for a living for 28 years. I was lucky though, the people who read my stuff all had a minimum grade 6 education. My mistake was assuming the same might be true here.

A grade 6 education isn't what it used to be. A grade 6 education today is probably equivalent to the grade 2 education you got. Teachers have been getting lazier over the years.

Depends on what year you're comparing today's education to. Anybody can be teacher nowadays. Just look at Turdo.
