Advice for a (kind of) newbie?

I get proper athletic massage at least once a month and a couple years ago I visited Tropic on (107th Ave and 149th Street) thinking it was a 'regular' athletic/therapeutic massage clinic. I'd never had an H.E. nor was I looking for one. So I was quite surprised when the RMT offered it, and even more surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The girl was not at all pretty, but she was sweet, easygoing, and very very good with her hands. I'm normally a shy fellow and she put me right at ease.

I loved the HE; the teasing, the little kisses, and the encouragement to touch her while she touched me. She only kissed my chest, don't know if she'd have kissed me elsewhere as I never asked or tried for more than she offered. As I've only had it once so far (and again, it was a couple years ago), was this more or less in line with what one can expect from H.E. massage at an establishment that's not a straight-up brothel? I was surprised in particular to be kissed or encouraged to let my hands wander.

Decided a few months ago I'd like to try something like this again, unfortunately picked Gloria at Delsol, who I now know (thanks to this forum) seems to advertise a 'product' that isn't really available. Massage was fine and she dressed sexy, but no happy ending or anything beyond some flirty touching.

While the F.S. treatment is almost certainly not for me, I think I'm ready to take another crack at the enhanced version of massage like I had once before. Is Tropic a decent place for this? Where would members recommend? When I search online, I seem to land either at the entirely professional therapeutic places (and I have a great regular RMT already who can work on my sports injuries), or the way-too-naughty-for-me places that seem to be full-service.

their were a few ladies at tropic tan a couple of years ago..they recently had an ad on cl and when i enquired i learned that one of those ladies is again doing massage ...she is not there every day so i suggest you call first..hope this helps..mg

you could also try stoney medical massage..their has been a good review on anna but my choice is ada...she may not be for everyone but i like her..mg

You've been a member since last November. Surely you've done some searching on this forum! We all have our preferences: location, price, lack of farting ( ), back walking- whatever. Find somebody close to you that has good reviews on this board and GO for it. I stick with Xiaoping as I get great massages and I'm happy. I have a couple million professional miles under my belt so I'm not keen about driving all over town to see others.

If you have a budget that is bigger than most of us, you could go through the hoops, songs and dance we went through when we were exploring places to visit. If you aim and start high with good providers, you might hit the ceiling real fast and will have to settle down with a favorite quickly as there are not a whole lot of places here that can meet a criteria/expectation we seek in this forum.
You could earn your way to the experience by starting from the bottom first. May take you over eight visits to find one you appreciate, be comfortable with and happy with........
Here is the list.
Mei Massage on 97 Street and 105 Avenue because you need to experience a fully draped massage. So fully draped, there are no skin to skin contact cause the massage is conducted over a sheet. Then get ready for their complimentary cupping treatment where you will feel great and loose but feel self conscious about the reddish purple dots on your body. Think Michael Phelps at the Olympics.
Next, also on 97 Street close to 117 Avenue is a house called Kathy Massage Therapy. Here is also draped massage but not hardcore fully draped. A body part will only be exposed when it's worked on and covered up after before moving on to the next. But you will experience a strong but rough massage.
Then next, a few doors North also on 97 Street is Li Massage. Here, same as above, but you will experience it via a man's touch. Even stronger and you get to feel how a man massages you compared to the ladies.

There you go, start with these three places right away. Now if you have taken or absorbed any Intel advice we have given out, YOU WILL go out there, and come back here after the session and report back as review. You can start earning credibility.

No, my list is to advise him that for the full appreciation of the ladies and quality of massages that are offered in Edmonton, he can earn his Intel by starting from the bottom, just like most of us. Go get started from the bottom, and work your way up. Then you will fully appreciate what we did to pay our dues first, then discover the places we come to appreciate. Humble beginnings.
Just like the story of the dad who is a CEO at the company by starting his son as a janitor in the company and move him step by step towards the top to eventually be the CEO. Now he raised a leader, instead of appointing a leader.

Thanks for the tips. As I mentioned in my initial post, I get athletic/therapeutic massage regularly and have done so for better than 20 years so I'm quite aware of what massage feels like... don't think I need to "start at the bottom" to gain appreciation or save myself from being spoiled. I think you may be wrongly conflating my lack of experience with H.E. massage for a lack of general life experience! I'll take your location suggestions as a good 'where not to go' though, so thank you for that.
