You can pinpoint when and where you got herpes from. If you caught it you’ll have an outbreak around 3-10 days after exposer. It doesn’t lay dormant in your body for years and decide to just pop up on your wedding day from a slide you got 4 years ago. A blood test for herpes isn’t accurate because the virus hides in your body when a person is not having an outbreak, but just cause it normally lays dormant in your body during that time doesn’t mean that’s what happens when you first are exposed to it. You’d have a first outbreak (oral or genital) within the time period 3-10 or whatever it is, might be 14 days I don’t know the exact period of time. But it would just be easier if the original poster just mentioned who exactly he stayed with in the week leading up to his outbreak unless he was going for 2 slides a day for 2 weeks in a row with different people each time from both spas, then ya that’d be more difficult to pinpoint. Right now just reading that its scaring people from going to either spa when that could be avoided all together, if you stayed with lady x from spa b and than 7 days later had an outbreak than chances are pretty good that that’s who spread it to you. You don’t have to put together a list of every girl you’ve stayed with the past 3 years, it’s just whoever you were with Back dated two weeks from your first outbreak.
