Why?

If a girl in Thailand smoke, that means that she have a very bad behavior and no good education.

Don't know about "hard-core" but if she is a long term BG then...

1. knows the location of your hotel no matter if it is new, small, off-the-beaten-track or changed its name three days ago......
2. tells you she has only worked bar for three months, but later mentions the things she lost in the tsunami.....
3. drops 90% of the usual BG BS if she hears you say more than "khap" in Thai.....
4. has some foreign coins in her purse.....
5. always wears a small amount of gold.....
6. hands over her id card at the hotel reception without being asked......
7. Has a photo on her mobile or in her purse where she is standing in snow.....
8. carrys a battered photo of her kids (and both are teenagers :mdr
9. Calls you "jai dee" for buying her dinner from a food cart on the way to your hotel
10. Drinks more alcohol than you and shows less effect....

The few hardcores I know who used to work for me in the past, they dont work in bars anymore, they get a bad attitude and only work on the streets and discos. They do look miserable when you see them, compared to the past. Many of them dont seems to have any friends anymore. I think many of them have a problem to socialize with other girls, not to mention fit into a bar.

Then we have the category who is not miserable, they are young and do socialize very well. but love money more than anything else and do everything in their power to acquire more money. Many of them are really lovely girls, but will rip you off big time.
