If you haven't been turned down by a girl then you probably are not assertive enough in approaching the girls. I think it just is natural. Main reasons in my experiences have been:

1) She is about to quit for the day or go on a break

2) I was drunk

3) I had hygiene issues (bad breath, BO, messy clothes)

4) I approached her in a rude manner (including a low ball or super sleazy offer)

5) She is just a bitch...

The real question is has any guy been refused and had hurt feelings about it?
