Training Opportunities Abound



The Massage Envy brand believes that development, learning and growth are worth investing in, which is why every year more than 20 continuing education courses are offered at no cost to massage therapists employed at Massage Envy franchised locations. In 2024, massage therapists collectively across franchised locations completed 16,592 continuing education hours. Kelly S., LMT at the Massage Envy Brandon franchised location, shares that he’s chosen to stay with that location for more than 17 years because of “their commitment to the latest and greatest modalities and techniques. The training that I have received has really elevated my career.”

Recognition of Outstanding Work



In addition to encouraging professional growth, Massage Envy franchisees are encouraged to cultivate a nurturing environment that invests in employees’ success and recognizes their contributions. One meaningful way to accomplish this is through the brand’s national awards program. In 2024, 36 Regional Therapists of the Year and one National Therapist of the Year were recognized and celebrated at the brand’s annual Performance Summit in Nashville, TN. “I attended the Massage Envy summit this year and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life,” says Katryna O., who has been an LMT for more than 9 years at the Massage Envy franchised location in Fairlawn, OH and was the 2024 National Therapist of the Year winner. “It was four days of everybody supporting each other, lifting each other up and making sure that they felt important, valued, and like they deserved to be there. It was so much fun. If you ever get the chance to go, go, do the education, get all the free stuff and have the most fun possible. It was an absolute blast.”

Investing in the Future

The Massage Envy brand remains committed to advancing the massage profession in multiple ways. In 2024, 10 massage therapy schools were each awarded a $10,000 grant, which was funded by Massage Envy, for a total of $100,000 awarded throughout the year. As Tracy F., Ontario Campus Manager for the National Holistic Institute and a 2024 grant winner explains, “This award represents more than just financial support; it is a testament to the trust and belief in our mission. We are profoundly grateful for this opportunity and are excited to witness the transformative impact it will have on our students, staff, and the broader community.”

Every month in 2024, eight winners were each awarded a $2,500 scholarship to go towards their massage therapy schooling under the Massage Envy Scholarship for Massage Therapists Sweepstakes*, for a total of 96 winners receiving $240,000 in scholarships. According to Lena R., one of the July 2024 winners, “This scholarship has reduced stress tremendously for me. I’m paying for massage school myself and I have been working a lot to pay for it. This scholarship will allow me to enjoy the process of becoming a massage therapist. I feel like I can take care of myself a little better now, as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.”
